Platter for two and cajun burger was very good. I liked that they did away with table menus so you order right as you enter the building. It made for faster service.
Never disappointed. Good service and food. Done in option or take out available. Love the brisket. Catfish can be a bit salty at times but good otherwise. Cornbread muffins are great. It is a little noisy but that is to be expected in a place like this. Ring the bell when you leave.
Was the 1st time my wife and I visited he but I have to say that the food was delicious and the service despite it being lunchtime was fast. Also the restaurant was very clean.

During my visit to famous Dave's, things were just great. From the facility to the food and the attitudes of the worker's. I really enjoyed being there and I will be returning. The management and staff we're very cheerful and pleasing. When I'm able I will be visiting again.
The last couple of BBQ restaurants that I have been to were very dissapointing. Thankfully, Famous Dave's always comes thru with great BBQ.
We have good memories of this restaurant from when we lived in Grand Forks, ND. We have never had a bad meal here, though my ribs tonight could have been more tender. We were so glad to see the potato wedges back in the Feast for Two, our traditional choice. We did notice the corn muffins were smaller. :( We noticed a young man going from [cleaned] table to table rolling the tablecloths back and placing condiment bottles in spots. We asked a lady what was going on, and she explained he was the closer and was catching things she missed when cleaning the tables. We expressed surprise because we had never seen that before. I asked if they pay the same attention to the menus, because we have called dirty menus to wait staff's attention before. They explained front closers are responsible for those. My husband thanked the young man for doing a good job. He said the manager comes behind him. :0 Good food, good service, clean, friendly staff.
I am from Florida/Georgia and was so happy to find this place! The best real sweet tea. Everyone is always friendly and attentive. I also worked in the food serving world and the one thing I was SO HAPPY TO SEE was they ACTUALLY check the food temperatures! That is very important (no food poising there!) The place is always so clean and I love going here!
